The The Jets lost a tough one Sunday due to Mark Sanchez’s rookie mistakes. Credit goes to my Sister for giving me the Sanchez line. The defense held the most powerful offensive that the NFL has not seen since “The Greatest Show on Turf” days of the St. Louis Rams to only 10 points. Sanchez coughed up the ball 4 times on 3 interceptions and one costly fumble in the right corner of the Jets end zone. That one resulted in a touchdown for the Saints as they recovered the live ball. I was screaming at the top of my lungs to "watch your back" as the ball was knocked out of his hand. I guess he didn’t hear me. The pick that hurt the most was the one returned for a 99 yard touchdown. The Jets were moving the ball and heading into the end zone when Sharper saw it all the way and brought it back for a Saints touchdown. Sanchez continues to telegraph his passes as he stares down his receivers. I can see that sitting from Section 326 at Giants Stadium. It’s not USC and the defenses are much quicker and faster to the ball. Sanchez went 14 of 27 for 138 with 3 interceptions. The defense was awesome once again. If the Jets can get the running game going with more consistency and keep Sanchez from coughing up the ball they will have an excellent season. This was a good game for the Jets to get out of their system’s early and see a real Super Bowl caliber team. Darrelle Revis was outstanding covering Marques Colston, holding him to only 2 catches for 33 yards. Calvin Pace returns to the Jets active roster just in time.
