Bills Defeat Jets at Meadowlands in Overtime 16-13 in Ugly Fashion Sunday

The New York Jets lost to their Western New York State rivals in most ugly fashion yesterday 16-13 on an overtime field goal. Jet QB Mark Sanchez was brutal yesterday throwing 5 interceptions on a miserable day at the Meadowlands. The poor weather was mentioned about 23 times among the TV broadcast, postgame and WFAN radio coverage. I’d like Sanchez not bite his nails or have the long puss on his face while sitting on the bench. It was a career day for Thomas Jones running for over 200 yards and 99 yards for Leon Washington. Jones was not happy about losing and downplayed his great performance during postgame interviews. That’s what I want to see from a team player. It was one of the ugliest games I’ve ever seen the Jets play as they had 14 penalties many of which of the dopey variety. The Jets had the lead after Bill starting QB Trent Edwards was knocked out of the game with a concussion. The most disappointing moment was watching Kris Jenkins (aka The Human Truck) on the turf and hobbling off the field. Rex Ryan said it is a knee injury and Jenkins is scheduled to have an MRI today. They need him big time. The 3-0 Jets are now 3-3 and in second place in the AFC East losing two in a row to division rivals. There’s not much more to say then let’s get to practice and figure this stuff out.
