Eli Manning’s plantar fasciitis on his right foot may not keep him out of the lineup this Sunday vs. Oakland. He practiced today and backup QB David Carr said he expected Manning to get the start. Since Oakland is so dreadful it may be better to sit Manning and give the start to Carr. He was a former number 1 pick by the Houston Texans and their starting quarterback. That would break Eli’s game starting streak but some things are more important, like ensuring he’s around for the tougher part of their schedule that’s coming up.
