Giants Defeat Hapless Raiders 44-7 at the Meadowlands Sunday

QB Eli Manning started the game for Big Blue yesterday to keep his consecutive starting game streak alive at 83. The Giants scored 4 touchdowns on their first 4 possessions to get a commanding 28-0 lead and never looked back. RB Ahmad Bradshaw had 11 carries for 110 yards and 2 touchdowns. Bradshaw added 1 reception for 55 yards. RB Brandon Jacobs once again had a tough game, having 21 carries for only 67 yards. It seems that he can’t get a full head of steam hitting the line and is going down pretty easily. Manning was 8 of 10 for 173 yards with 2 touchdowns before leaving the game in the 2nd quarter. The Giants had 483 total yards of offensive, unbelievable. Backup QB David Carr was 9 of 14 for 90 yards. Carr had 4 carries for 27 yards with 1 touchdown. Raiders DE Richard Seymour was traded to the Raiders from the Patriots during the preseason. He must be asking himself why. He was saying that the Raiders couldn’t stop anything, that the Giants were doing whatever they wanted to do, even while playing their backups in the 2nd half. Raider QB JaMarcus Russell is brutal. I don’t know how this guy still has a starting job in the NFL.
