When Did They Rename MLB Playoffs to Postseason? The Dope Joe Buck Helped For Starters

I really can’t stand Joe Buck. I was at the Game 7 of the NLCS at Shea Stadium in 2006 with my Wife and friends. About 5 minutes before the first pitch a close-up of Joe Buck appears on the Jumbotron. He gives this little sarcastic wave of his fingers to the crowd. What a dope. We then proceed to boo him loudly. Every time I hear Buck utter “postseason” I cringe, as he says it 157 times each broadcast. Maybe Fox Sports helped rebrand the Playoffs. Thanks, good job!
