Rangers Sign Biron in Two-Year Deal as Backup Goaltender

The New York Rangers are looking for a few good men, one being a backup goaltender and Martin Biron is that man. Biron knows the backup role and should work well with the Blueshirts. Henrik Lundqvist started 73 games last season plus the Olympic Games and will get more rest this season. Chad Johnson is not NHL ready and will most likely start in Hartford. Biron played for the rival New York Islanders last season, a few with the Flyers (aka Effers) and most with the Sabres. Biron was also the first free agent signing this year.
