Madison Square Garden, The World’s Most Famous Arena will be undergoing a much needed $850 million facelift in the next couple of years. My hope is that Ranger tickets won’t go up and come to think of it, Knick and St. John’s as well. I saw renderings of the two bridges that will cross the ice (and playing floor for basketball) and thought that’s where Dancin’ Larry can do his bit in the third period during the second or third TV timeout (OMG…) This project was originally estimated at $500 million.
