The Red Bulls made it official this morning that
Thierry Henry has signed with the club. I hope Henry will help the team from the start. He will make his first appearance with the Red Bulls during the
New York Football Challenge being held at Red Bull Arena from July 22nd – 25th. I received a text message from the Red Bulls at 7:04 AM that said:
It’s official, Thierry Henry signs with RBNY. Pick up the NY Times today! Debut 7/22 vs Spurs
The Red Bull players are
thrilled to have Henry join the team. I’m still not sure who will be cut but it may be veteran John Wolyniec. I hope I’m wrong as I like Woly but room will need to be made on the roster unfortunately.
