New York Mets Shortstop Jose Reyes Takes Indoor Batting Practice

As reported by mets.com: Jose Reyes takes indoor batting practice:
"I haven't seen him run or anything, so that's still a question for me," Mets manager Jerry Manuel said Sunday. "What I'd like to know [in Spring Training] is he's healthy. That's the No. 1 thing for me. Spring Training becomes a very important time for him versus what it has been the last few years."
Reyes has been out since May 20th and I’m still confused as to what he’s been doing or needs to do to get back on the field. How can Jerry Manuel not have more definitive information on his All-Star shortstop, unless he knows he won’t be around to worry about it for Spring Training 2010.
