Melanie Oudin Upsets Maria Sharapova at the 2009 US Open Saturday

The amazing play of the 17-year-old Oudin continues as she defeats Sharapova yesterday 3-6, 6-4, 7-5 in a third round marathon on Day 6 of the 2009 US Open in Flushing. This makes the third straight win over a Russian player. Next up for Melanie is a fourth straight Russian, 13th-seeded Nadia Petrova. Sharapova's not used to having the crowd root for her opponent.
