The New York Jets beat the Texas 24-7 in an excellent first start for Mark Sanchez. He went 18 of 31 (58.1 PCT) for 272 yards with 1 TD, 1 INT and 5 rushes for 6 yards. He was not sacked and fumbled but was recovered by the Jets. He looked absolutely terrific. My good friend is from the Boston area but LOVES Mr. Sanchez! I've turned her into a Jet fan, or at least a Mark Sanchez fan! The real test for him comes in the next three games: Patriots (aka Cheaters), Titans, @ Saints. The Cheaters and Saints can light up the scoreboard easily and the Titans defense will be ready. I hope the Jets show up as they did yesterday, as they will be excellent games. The Jets' defense got pressure on Houston's QB Matt Schaub all game, stopped their running game and shut down their passing game. Houston WR Andre Johnson is among the elite receivers in the NFL and CB Darrelle Revis totally smothered him. Schaub had a very quick release and kept from getting sacked throughout the game. My Wife said NT Kris Jenkins is like a Human Truck as he threw offensive linemen out of the way. I love the play of ILB Bart Scott, one of Rex Ryan's guys from Baltimore. He may very well lead the team in tackles this year/
