Mets Win Two in a Row Defeating Cubs 6-2
The Mets defeated the Cubs last night 6-2 at Citi Field. Bobby Parnell pitched a shutdown giving up only 5 hits, 3 walks with 7 strikeouts in 7.0 innings. Brian Stokes had another blown save and K-Rod came into the game with one out in the 9th to earn his 29th save. Cory Sullivan was 2 for 2 with a HR and 2 RBIs. Good to see the Mets come back with 5 runs in the 8th for the win. Tatis came through with a pinch hit single to drive in the go aheard run.
