Big Pelf Was Licked Last Night in 8-3 Loss at Coors Field

Mike Pelfrey was brutal last night. Nothing good came from the Licking of Hand & pitching from the stretch. He gave up 7 runs, 6 earned on 6 hits (2 HRs) , 5 walks with 4 strikeouts in 4.0 innings. His last two starts were terrible. Big Pelf's been good but has gotten shelled four times in his last ten starts. Hope he remains in the rotation and finishes with a flurry.

David Wright went 1 for 3, 1 run scored with 2 strikeouts and was left on base twice. Well, the LOB was almost a given! Mets left 11 on base.
