The Mets lost last night 6-3 and were shellacked tonight 13-4 at Citi Field. Glad 33% of The Core is back! Beltran will likely play 2 out of every 3 games the rest of the season. At this point seeing Jose Reyes state he's upset at what he's hearing is kind of a joke. Good to see him make it for the team photo shoot. The 1987 season was injury plagued but not like this. I'm no fair weather fan but simply a disillusioned and disappointed one. I'm not sure if the Met organization is minimizing the injuries, keeping quiet so we keep coming to the ballpark or hoping we forget about all the players whom have been on the DL. John Maine went out with "shoulder fatigue". They said no big deal in mid-June. He's slated to start this Sunday. I just wish they could have weekly or bi-weekly updates posted on their website. That may be a lot to ask but how about a press conference from our GM every now and then? What a minute! That would be a nightmare too. Did you catch Omar's (aka Nomore's) classic in the dugout, when he spoke of the "investigation"?
