Mets Come From Behind to Beat the Hated Phillies 10-9 Saturday
It was David Wright's day in Philadelphia yesterday. Great seeing him have such a strong game with two homers. Wright went 3 for 5 (2 HRs), 3 runs and 6 RBIs. Fernando Tatis and Carlos Beltran joined the hit parade. Tatis went 4 for 5 with 3 RBIs. Beltran, who sat the two previous games went 3 for 5 (HR), 3 runs with 2 RBIs. Six of the Mets' runs came in the final three innings. Mike Pelfrey was handed a 4 run lead before he threw a pitch but couldn't come close to holding it. Big Pelf gave up 8 earned runs, 10 hits, with 1 walk and 3 strikeouts in 6.0 innings. Green, Feliciano and Rodriguez combined to shutdown the Phillies in the final 2 2/3 innings. Feliciano earned the win and K-Rod earned his 31st save. I enjoyed listening to Howie Rose call the game with Tim McCarver on Fox. Even McCarver was good!

Please mention the Mutts are eliminated from the wild card and should be seeking losses to enhance draft picks. mn
