The New York Mets keep losing and lowering their winning percentage in the month of September. They are mathematically out of the wildcard race. Yah! They're 4 and 9, a September percentage of .308. For the season they're .438, 20 games out of first place in the National League East. Jerry Manuel was jawboning in June about the Mets needing to stay near .500 and they'd pick it up in the second half. Now that the second half’s come and gone we're spiraling into the abyss. Thank God Washington's in the East or we'd be the cellar dwellers. I'm getting spammed like crazy from the Mets with promotions, deals, discounts, games down the stretch, etc. Maybe it's time to make a rule and move all that stuff to an email folder named THANKS_POR_LOS_MEMORIES.
