Mark Sanchez plays yet again the biggest game of his young career today in Indianapolis shortly. Rex Ryan said yesterday at the Rally at the Training Facility that at the Colts’ rally there 200 people will show up in a bar somewhere. That cracked me up and got me even more psyched. Here’s a picture of the members of the Flight Crew that was at the Rally yesterday. They had some of the crew at JFK airport for the team sendoff to Indianapolis.
- CB Darrelle Revis needs a huge game against Colt WR Reggie Wayne
- Defense needs to chuck Colt receivers hard at the line of scrimmage
- Defense needs to knockdown Colt QB Peyton Manning or at least get to him and mix up coverages. Manning is the best at reading defenses at the line of scrimmage
- Jets will have FS Kerry Rhodes cover another All-Pro TE Colt Dallas Clark. He concerns me as Clark catches passes for touchdowns
- Sanchez must pass 25 times or more to keep up with Colts and QB Peyton Manning
- Colts running game is nothing compared to what it used to be but RB Joseph Addai catches the ball out of the backfield
- Ball control, time of possession and no penalties are huge for the Jets
- No yards after the catch (YAC) on the short dink and dunk stuff that QB Manning will throw their way. The Jets defense must tackle the ball handler immediately
- Jets must get yards on first down
- Jets must keep Colts from getting yards on first down
So if the Jets can do all that they can win the game. J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!
