Canadiens Shut Out Rangers at Bell Centre in Montreal 6-0 Saturday

The Montreal Canadiens (aka Habs) defeated the New York Rangers 6-0 last night at what I call the Mecca of Hockey, Le Centre Bell in Montreal. Watching this game pained me, especially seeing ex-Ranger Scott Gomez score the fist goal for Montreal last night. I thought he was the laziest guy on the ice when he played for the Blueshirts but last night he played hard. Henrik Lundqvist was pulled at 6:17 in the 2nd period after giving up 4 goals. Matt Zaba made his NHL debut between the pipes. Zaba gave up 2 power play goals and looked sharp in goal. The Ranger defense was pathetic in front of Henrik and did a complete no show energy wise. I hope the Rangers get it together and show up Monday night at the Garden against the Penguins. The three stars of the game were all Canadiens: Michael Cammalleri, Jaroslav Halak and Jaroslav Spacek.
