York Revolution Shut Out Somerset Patriots 1-0 at Sovereign Bank Stadium Today to Knock Patriots Out of Playoffs – Wait Till Next Year!

The Somerset Patriots were shut out 1-0 today in Game 5 of the best of five Freedom Division Series of the Atlantic League and are out of the playoffs. My Wife, friends and I have had the Saturday Plan for the Patriots for the past three years and enjoy supporting the team. I listened to the game tonight and was disappointed with the loss. Perhaps we were a little spoiled as the Patriots won the Championship the past two years. Scott Grimes continued to play well in the playoffs for York. The Mets signed Grimes in 2009 and played for the Gulf Coast Mets and Brooklyn Cyclones but suffered an injury and he was released. In his first year with the Revolution he may lead them past the Bluefish for the Atlantic League Championship. Thanks to my friend for offering me his tickets to last nights game as we brought our friend who had a great time watching the 7-0 Patriot laugher win with us. As the Brooklyn Dodger fans would say “Wait till next year!”
