Rangers’ Drury to Miss Four Weeks with Fractured Finger

The New York Rangers’ captain Chris Drury will miss four weeks due to a fractured finger sustained Monday in practice. Drury was doing what he does better than anybody, blocking shots as he got hit and fractured his left index finger. After the injury head coach John Tortorella suggested that Drury should wear heavier padding in his gloves. I just wish they thought of that last week. Drury is expected to miss the six-game preseason and the first three games of the season.
