All-Pro Cornerback Darrelle Revis is Holding Out From Jets Training Camp

The New York Jets reported to the Jets’ training facility Sunday morning for conditioning testing in Florham Park, NJ minus their All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis. He also didn’t show up in Cortland, NY for the team’s first meeting held at 5:30 PM Sunday afternoon. I think this spells disaster or at least a major bump in the road for the Jets. GM Mike Tannenbaum said that they offered Revis a long-term deal that would have made him a Jet for his entire career. They also offered a short-term deal and a meeting with the team. Apparently Revis’ agent turned everything down. My hope is that this gets resolved and Revis gets into camp soon, and at least stays in shape. This is just perfect for HBO’s Hard Knocks! I will have to subscribe to HBO again just to watch this years series with the Jets.
