The New Jersey Devils were eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs last night at the Rock by the hated Philadelphia Flyers (aka Effers). The Effers shutout the Devils 3-0 and took the series 4 games to 1. I absolutely did not believe the Effers would advance and in fact thought they'd lose in 5 or 6 games. The story of the series was goal tending where Marty Brodeur was not a good as Brian Boucher. Boucher was excellent in goal and kept the Devils off balance the entire series. Once again the Devils have a terrific season and come up short in the playoffs and exit quickly.
