Carlos Beltran had a follow-up appointment with the doctor who performed the surgery on his knee (a clean-up job) yesterday and has not been cleared to return to “baseball activities” yet. This is a complete joke at this point and a shame as he could really help the team. I wonder if he’ll even play for the Mets this year.

i hear he has been seen in NY working for Mo Vaughan's Real Estate management group. and apparently they were idscussing how being paid by the Mets to play baseball while not playing is not a bad way to spend your time.
