Coach Rex Ryan was fined $50,000 by the Jets today for flipping the bird towards Miami fans on Saturday. Ryan was the guest of a mixed martial arts event where former NFL running back Herschel Walker made his debut in winning fashion. I can see the NFL fining him as well next week after the Super Bowl. Rex was the instigator by telling the crowd on mic that the Jets will beat the Dolphins in both games next season. Woody Johnson wasn’t thrilled about it. Rex had to let this stuff go. It doesn’t help his image or the Jet organization. I wonder how much he made for the appearance?
