The Red Bulls visit San Jose to play the Earthquakes at Buck Shaw tonight in the first leg of the Eastern Conference Semifinal Series. The game is televised on MSG2, which is Channel 414 on Cablevision in the Greater New York City area starting at 10:00 PM EDT. The game will also be televised in progress on MSG+ at 10:30 PM since the Rangers, Knicks and Islanders are all playing tonight. Unfortunately the Red Bulls will be without Thierry Henry, rookie Tony Tchani and Solou Ibrahim. That’s going to be a tall order for the Red Bulls on the road and I’d be happy with a tie and ecstatic with a victory. Goalkeeper Bouna Coundoul will have his hands full and captain Juan Pablo Angel and Dane Richards on the right wing will need to play very well. Another rookie Juan Agudelo may get the start, having limited MLS experience. One good thing is that Agudelo has made the most of his minutes recently. LET’S GO RED BULLS!
