Domenik Hixon tore his ACL in his right knee yesterday at the Giants minicamp held at the new Meadowlands Stadium. As Hixon was fielding a punt his foot caught in the new FieldTurf and he tore the ACL in his right knee. Head coach Tom Coughlin said the turf was unusually soft but Hixon was wearing the proper cleats. This hurts the Giants and Hixon as he signed a one-year non-guaranteed contract with the Giants this spring.
