The New York Jets lost for the second time this season to their division rival Miami Dolphins at home Sunday 30-25 in another heartbreaker. The nightmare continues with Ted Ginn burning the Jets for touchdown kickoff returns of 100 and 101 yards. As I watched I thought of a lot of words I’d rather not put in my blog, The Jets held the ball longer, beat the Dolphins in all categories but still lost the game on Ginn’s TDs and an awful fumble by rookie RB Shonn Greene that turned into a TD for Miami. QB Mark Sanchez had a good game going 20 of 35 for 265 yards with 2 touchdowns. Sanchez also ran one in for a touchdown. RB Thomas Jones had a Thomas Jones type day with 27 carries for 102 yards but no touchdowns. One good thing to note is that Jet TE Dustin Keller was Sanchez’s main target with 8 catches for 76 yards and 1 touchdown. WR Braylon Edwards had 4 catches for 74 yards with 1 touchdown. WR Jerricho Cotchery had 3 catches for 70 yards. Sanchez and the Jets came up short on a game ending drive, unable to get the ball into the end zone.
